FYEG-seminarium om rio+20!
In preparation for the United Nations’ “Rio+20” conference FYEG organizes a six day seminar on Youth empowerment and Global Solidarity. The main aim of the seminar is to inspire, empower, educate and mobilize young people to take positive action towards a sustainable model of society that assures global justice.

Cooperation and Development Network Eastern Europe (www.cdnee.org) is announcing a call for participants for the Summer Camp » Green perspective on European values: Mission, Vision and Objective«. This project will take place from 23rd to 29th July 2012 in Belarus and is so far financially supported by the Council of Europe (CoE), the European Youth Foundation and the Green Forum, Sweden. It aims to address questions like: What is “Europe” and is there something like a “European identity” or “European values”? What do Green-minded people think that Europe is or should be? How can youth contribute to communicating and implementing these Green European principles and ideas? How can we use the idea of “Europe” for making the world a Greener place?

Global Young Greens och Global Greens kongresser i Dakar
I slutet av mars anordnade Global Greens, den globala gröna nätverksorganisationen, sin kongress i Dakar, Senegal. Dagarna innan hade ungdomsnätverket Global Young Greens sin kongress, med två deltagare från svenska Grön Ungdom, Ingrid Nyman och Hanna Gyllin.

Take Part in the European Energy Campaign!
As part of FYEG´s energy campaign “New Generation for Nuclear Liberation”, we are planning action weeks. Within these three actions weeks, we are asking the MOs to participate, make pictures or movies from the actions and hand them to the committee. The action weeks will have different topics, the first dealing with the catastrophe of Chernobyl and the still not at all solved problem of the nuclear waste. The second action week during the RIO +20 negotiations in June will connect the energy crisis with the global inequality and ecological and social exploitation in the world. The third and last action week in autumn will deal with the solutions for these crisis.

The Federation of Young European Greens (FYEG) is announcing a call for participants to the United Nations Climate Change Talks in Bonn from the 14-25 May 2012. På Grön Ungdoms Riksårsmöte 17-19 februari kom ämnet Digitala Rättigheter kontinuerligt upp. Det voterades till- och-med om att göra digitala rättigheter till en av våra prioriterade frågor år 2012, dock föll ändringsförslaget. Men vad är digitala rättigheter egentligen?

The Green European Foundation, the Heinrich-Böll Foundation and FYEG will organise a seminar with the title "Queering Green Theory/Greening Queer Theory" in Zagreb, Croatia from the 11th to the 16th April 2012. This seminar will be the first part of a series of three seminars on the Balkans in 2012 concerning the issue of LGBTQ.

Workshop i Bryssel om energirevolutionen
Medan världens alla ledare samlades i Sydafrika för att diskutera ett nytt (förhoppningsvis) bindande klimatavtal samlades ett 30-tal ungdomar från hela världen i Bryssel för att diskutera hur vi ska lösa energifrågan i Europa och resten av världen.

Jämställdhetsdiskussioner i Strasbourg
I december flödade Strasbourg av julmarknader, juldekorationer och välbekanta dofter, smaker och musik, då staden stolt presenterade sig som ’julens huvudstad’. Samtidigt, 15 minuter med spårvagn bort från Strasbourgs centrum, höll FYEG mellan 4 och 11 december ett veckolångt seminarium med namnet ’Gender Policies in the EU: What’s next?’ i European Youth Centre, en stor byggnad alldeles intill parlamentsbyggnaden. Där träffades 25 stycken ungdomar från olika länder, inklusive vi fyra från Sverige, för att diskutera genusrelaterade frågor och jämställdhetsarbete inom Europa.
